Your **account** is the business: its name, its logo, its billing, its connections. A **workspace** is an internal division of the business with its own WhatsApp number — a clinic with two sites has one account and two workspaces. Everything you do day to day (conversations, contacts, campaigns, flows, reports) lives inside one workspace and never mixes with the others.

## Signing in {#signing-in}

- If your user belongs to **one business**, you go straight into the workspace you were in last. There is nothing to choose.
- If you work for **several businesses** (an agency and a client, say), Konverda asks **which account** you want to enter. It never asks for the workspace: you land in the one you used last in that account.

## Switching workspace {#switching}

At the top of the sidebar is the business name and, under it, the workspace you are in. If you can enter more than one workspace, that name carries an arrow: click it and choose. The app reloads in full in the new workspace, as if you had just signed in.

Which workspaces you see:

| Your role | What the list shows |
|---|---|
| Owner | Every workspace of the business. |
| Administrator, Manager or Agent | Only the workspaces you belong to. The others do not appear. |

If you can enter only one, the name carries no arrow and there is nothing to switch.

## Roles {#roles}

Every person holds a role in each workspace — Agent, Manager, Administrator or Owner — and can hold a different one in another workspace of the same business. What each role allows, who appoints whom and how people are invited or removed in **Settings → Team** is in [team and roles](/en/docs/account-and-billing/team-and-roles). Which conversations each person ends up carrying is a separate matter, decided on its own terms: [who handles each conversation](/en/docs/inbox/who-handles-each-conversation).

## Switching account {#switching-account}

In the same menu, **Cambiar de cuenta** takes you back to the list of businesses. It only appears when your user works for more than one.

## Two tabs open {#two-tabs}

If you switch workspace in one tab, the other tabs you had open keep showing the previous workspace. As soon as one of them tries to do anything, it stops and tells you: **«Has cambiado de espacio en otra pestaña»**. Click **Recargar** and you will see the current workspace. Nothing you do in that tab is saved into the wrong workspace.

## Links that arrive by email {#links}

Email notifications and invitations know which workspace they belong to. If you open one while in another workspace, Konverda switches you to the link's workspace by itself. If it is a workspace you cannot enter, it says so and you stay where you were.

## Creating a workspace {#creating}

Workspaces are created by the Konverda team for your account: write to support with the division's name and who will be in charge of it. **Ajustes → Cuenta** lists the workspaces of your business.
